Here's the eggs the bluejay in the other picture was sitting on. When I get close enough, the adults fly away leaving a pretty clear view! There are actually 4 eggs in this nest, but one is hidden from this angle and another is mostly hidden. Even though bluejays are exceptionally tolerant of humans being near their nest, I didn't want to get any closer in fear of scaring Mamma and Papa away permanantly! (The angle needed to view the 4th egg is almost "touching close"...)
